A - What The Maker's Manual says -

Fear None but God (Old Testament )

Joshua 1 : 8 - Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 23 : 1 - And it came to pass after many days, when Jehovah had given rest to Israel from all their enemies round about, and Joshua was old and well stricken in years; that Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders and for their heads, and for their judges and for their officers, and said to them, I am old and well stricken in years: and you have seen all that Jehovah your God has done to all these nations because of you; for Jehovah your God, he it is that has fought for you. Behold, I have allotted to you these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even to the great sea toward the going down of the sun. And Jehovah your God, he will thrust them out from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and you shall possess their land, as Jehovah your God spoke to you. Therefore be you very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that you turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; that you come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow down yourselves to them; but cleave to Jehovah your God, as you have done to this day. For Jehovah has driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man has stood before you to this day. One man of you shall chase a thousand; for Jehovah your God, he it is that fights for you, as he spoke to you.

Isaiah 7 : 1 - And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind. Then said Jehovah to Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shear-jashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, in the highway of the fuller’s field; and say to him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither let your heart be faint, because of these two tails of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have purposed evil against you, saying, Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set up a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeel; thus says the Lord Jehovah, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people: and the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.

Isaiah 54 : 4 - Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood you shall remember no more. For your Maker is your husband; Jehovah of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called. For Jehovah has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, says your God. For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on you, says Jehovah your Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, says Jehovah that has mercy on you. O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. And I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of carbuncles, and all your border of precious stones. And all your children shall be taught of Jehovah; and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you. Behold, I have created the smith that blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, says Jehovah.

Job 3 : 1 - ( Continued from topic 'You're not Alone' ) - After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job answered and said: Let the day perish wherein I was born, And the night which said, There is a man-child conceived. Let that day be darkness; Let not God from above seek for it, Neither let the light shine upon it. Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own; Let a cloud dwell upon it; Let all that makes black the day terrify it. As for that night, let thick darkness seize upon it: Let it not rejoice among the days of the year; Let it not come into the number of the months. Lo, let that night be barren; Let no joyful voice come therein. Let them curse it that curse the day, Who are ready to rouse up leviathan. Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark: Let it look for light, but have none; Neither let it behold the eyelids of the morning: Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, Nor hid trouble from mine eyes. Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when my mother bore me? Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breast, that I should suck? For now should I have lain down and been quiet; I should have slept; then had I been at rest, With kings and counsellors of the earth, Who built up waste places for themselves; Or with princes that had gold, Who filled their houses with silver: Or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been, As infants that never saw light. There the wicked cease from troubling; And there the weary are at rest. There the prisoners are at ease together; They hear not the voice of the taskmaster. The small and the great are there: And the servant is free from his master. Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, And life to the bitter in soul; Who long for death, but it comes not, And dig for it more than for hid treasures; Who rejoice exceedingly, And are glad, when they can find the grave? Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, And whom God has hedged in? For my sighing comes before I eat, And my groanings are poured out like water. - For the thing which I fear comes upon me, And that which I am afraid of comes to me. I am not at ease, neither am I quiet, neither have I rest; But trouble comes.

Job 22 : 1 - Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, Can a man be profitable to God, as he that is wise may be profitable to himself? Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you are righteous? or is it gain to him, that you make your ways perfect? Will he reprove you for fear of you? will he enter with you into judgment? Is not your wickedness great? and your iniquities infinite? For you have taken a pledge from your brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing. You have not given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry. But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it. You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken. Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden fear troubles you; Or darkness, that you cannot see; and abundance of waters cover you. Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

Fear of God (New Testament )

Matthew 17 : 6 - While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

Matthew 28 : 8 - And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word. And behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him. Then Jesus said to them, Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Mark 5 : 36 - Fear not, only believe.

Mark 6 : 46 - And when even was come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. And seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he comes to them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them: but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he straightway spoke with them, and said to them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. And he went up to them into the boat; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves;

Luke 1 : 29 - Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And he came in to her, and said, Hail, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you.
But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this might be. And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor with God.

Luke 5 : 10 - But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was amazed, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken;
and so were also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; from henceforth you shall catch men. And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all, and followed him.

Luke 23 : 39 - And one of the malefactors that were hanged railed on him, saying, Are not you the Christ? save yourself and us. But the other answered, and rebuking him said, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss. And he said, Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom. And he said to him, Verily I say to you, To-day shall you be with me in Paradise.

Luke 24 : 36 - And as they spoke these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, Peace be to you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit. And he said to them, Why are you troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart? See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you behold me having. And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

John 6 : 20 - It is I; be not afraid.

Acts 5 : 11 - And great fear came upon the whole church, and upon all that heard these things. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people ....

Acts 9 : 31 - So the church throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.

Romans 8 : 15 - For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

2 Corinthians 5 : 9 - Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing to him. For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.

2 Timothy 1 : 7 - For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline

1 Peter 2 : 17 - Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

Fear of God (Old Testament )

Genesis 31 : 42 - Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now had you sent me away empty. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you yesternight.

Exodus 20 : 18 - And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off. And they said to Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.Moses said to the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that you sin not. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.

Deuteronomy 31 : 9 - And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it to the priests the sons of Levi, which bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel. And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as you live in the land whither you go over Jordan to possess it.

2 Chronicles 19 : 1 - And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem. And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Should you help the wicked, and love them that hate Jehovah? for this thing wrath is upon you from before Jehovah. Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have put away the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God. And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again among the people from Beer-sheba to the hill-country of Ephraim, and brought them back to Jehovah, the God of their fathers. And he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, Consider what you do: for you judge not for man, but for Jehovah; and he is with you in the judgment. Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes. Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites and the priests, and of the heads of the fathers’ houses of Israel, for the judgment of Jehovah, and for controversies. And they returned to Jerusalem. And he charged them, saying, Thus shall you do in the fear of Jehovah, faithfully, and with a perfect heart. And whenever any controversy shall come to you from your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them, that they be not guilty towards Jehovah, and so wrath come upon you and upon your brethren: this do, and you shall not be guilty.

Nehemiah 7 : 1 - Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed, that I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the castle, charge over Jerusalem; he was a faithful man, and feared God above many. And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand on guard, let them shut the doors, and bar you them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.

Psalm 2 : 11 - Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens will laugh: The Lord will have them in derision. Then will he speak to them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure: Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said to me, You are my son; This day have I begotten you. Ask of me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Now therefore be wise, O you kings: Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.

Psalm 34 : 9 - Oh fear Jehovah, you his saints; For there is no want to them that fear him.

Psalm 76 : 7 - You, even you, are to be feared; And who may stand in your sight when once you are angry? You did cause sentence to be heard from heaven; The earth feared, and was still, When God arose to judgment, To save all the meek of the earth. [Selah] Surely the wrath of man shall praise you: The residue of wrath shall you gird upon you. Vow, and pay to Jehovah your God: Let all that are round about him bring presents to him that ought to be feared. He will cut off the spirit of princes: He is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Psalm 90 : 7 - For we are consumed in your anger, And in your wrath are we troubled. You have set our iniquities before you, Our secret sins in the light of your countenance. For all our days are passed away in your wrath: We bring our years to an end as a sigh. The days of our years are threescore years and ten, Or even by reason of strength fourscore years; Yet is their pride but labor and sorrow; For it is soon gone, and we fly away. Who knows the power of your anger, And your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?

Psalm 128 : 1 - ( A Song of degrees ) - Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways. For you shall eat the labour of your hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like olive plants round about your table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD. The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, you shall see your children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

Psalm 147 : 10 - He delights not in the strength of the horse: He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. Jehovah takes pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his lovingkindness.

Proverbs 9 : 10 - The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days shall be multiplied, And the years of your life shall be increased. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; And if you scoff, you alone shall bear it. The foolish woman is clamorous; She is simple, and knows nothing. And she sits at the door of her house, On a seat in the high places of the city, To call to them that pass by, Who go right on their ways: Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither; And as for him that is void of understanding, she says to him, Stolen waters are sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knows not that the dead are there; That her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

Proverbs 15 : 30 - The light of the eyes rejoices the heart; And good tidings make the bones fat. The ear that hearkens to the reproof of life Shall abide among the wise. He that refuses correction despises his own soul; But he that hearkens to reproof gets understanding. The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom; And before honor goes humility.

Isaiah 33 : 6 .... there shall be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is your treasure.

Fear of Man (New Testament )

1 John 4 : 17 - Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world. There is no fear in love: but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment; and he that fears is not made perfect in love.

Matthew 10 : 16 - But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you; yes and before governors and kings shall you be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what you shall speak. For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaks in you. And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say to you, You shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Acts 4 : 13 - Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And seeing the man that was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Hebrews 13 : 6 - Be you free from the love of money; content with such things as you have: for himself has said, I will in no wise fail you, neither will I in any wise forsake you. So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do to me?

Fear of Man (Old Testament )

Genesis 42 : 3 - And Joseph’s ten brethren went down to buy grain from Egypt. But Benjamin, Joseph’s brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure harm befall him.

Genesis 43 : 17 - And the man did as Joseph bade; and the man brought the men to Joseph’s house.
And the men were afraid, because they were brought to Joseph’s house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses. And they came near to the steward of Joseph’s house, and they spake to him at the door of the house, and said, Oh, my lord, we came indeed down at the first time to buy food:
and it came to pass, when we came to the lodging-place, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every man’s money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.
And other money have we brought down in our hand to buy food: we know not who put our money in our sacks.
And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out to them. And the man brought the men into Joseph’s house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.

Numbers 13 : 25 - And they returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days. And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them, and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. And they told him, and said, We came to the land whither you sent us; and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Howbeit the people that dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. Amalek dwells in the land of the South: and the Hittite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, dwell in the hill-country; and the Canaanite dwells by the sea, and along by the side of the Jordan. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out to the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Nehemiah 6 : 10 - ( Narrative continued from 'Honesty Truth ) And I went to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay you; yes, in the night will they come to slay you. And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in. And I discerned, and, lo, God had not sent him; but he pronounced this prophecy against me: and Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. For this cause was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. Remember, O my God, Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and also the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear. So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days. And it came to pass, when all our enemies heard thereof, that all the nations that were about us feared, and were much cast down in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God. Moreover in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came to them. For there were many in Judah sworn to him, because he was the son-in-law of Shecaniah the son of Arah; and his son Jehohanan had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah to wife. Also they spoke of his good deeds before me, and reported my words to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear. So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.

Psalm 56 : 1 - For the Chief Musician; set to Jonath elem rehokim. A Psalm of David. Michtam; when the Philistines took him in Gath. Be merciful to me, O God; For man would swallow me up: All the day long he fighting oppresses me. Mine enemies would swallow me up all the day long; For they are many that fight proudly against me.What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God (I will praise his word), In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me? All the day long they wrest my words: All their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, They mark my steps, Even as they have waited for my soul. Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God. You number my wanderings: Put you my tears into your bottle; Are they not in your book? Then shall my enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me. In God (I will praise his word), In Jehovah (I will praise his word), In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can man do to me?

Psalm 112 : 7 - He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, Until he see his desire upon his adversaries.

Psalm 118 : 6 - Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me?

Proverbs 1 : 1 - The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instruction; To discern the words of understanding; To receive instruction in wise dealing, In righteousness and justice and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion: That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels: To understand a proverb, and a figure, The words of the wise, and their dark sayings..The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 28 : 1 - The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Proverbs 29 : 24 - . Whoso is partner with a thief hates his own soul; He hears the adjuration and utters nothing.
The fear of man brings a snare; But whoso puts his trust in Jehovah shall be safe. Many seek the ruler’s favor; But a man’s judgment comes from Jehovah. An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

Isaiah 51 : 12 - I, even I, am he that comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass ....

Ezekiel 11 : 1 - Moreover the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of Jehovah’s house, which looks eastward: and behold, at the door of the gate five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. And he said to me, Son of man, these are the men that devise iniquity, and that give wicked counsel in this city; that say, The time is not near to build houses: this city is the caldron, and we are the flesh. Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man. And the Spirit of Jehovah fell upon me, and he said to me, Speak, Thus says Jehovah: Thus have you said, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind. You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled the streets thereof with the slain. Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron; but you shall be brought forth out of the midst of it. You have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword upon you, says the Lord Jehovah. And I will bring you forth out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. You shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and you shall know that I am Jehovah. This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall you be the flesh in the midst thereof; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and you shall know that I am Jehovah: for you have not walked in my statutes, neither have you executed my ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you. And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel? And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying, ( 15 ) Son of man, your brethren, even your brethren, the men of your kindred, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are they to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from Jehovah; to us is this land given for a possession.

and cared for him and
wouldn't want him to do anything
to harm himself or others. The
man, who had just stabbed
a local hairdresser, gave
up his weapon and submitted
to justice.'
