A - What The Maker's Manual says -

GigaGuy - Mouth, Tongue (New Testament)

Matthew 12 : 37 - For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.

Matthew 15 : 10 - And he called to him the multitude, and said to them, Hear, and understand: Not that which enters into the mouth defiles the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.

Matthew 15 : 15 - And Peter answered and said to him, Declare to us the parable. And he said, Are you also even yet without understanding? Perceive you not, that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and is cast out in the draught? But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings: these are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands defiles not the man.

Luke 6 : 45 - The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringes forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Romans 10 . 8 - with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

Romans 10 : 13 - Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 15 : 6 - Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 14 . 9 - So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and no kind is without signification. If then I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be to him that speaks a barbarian, and he that speaks will be a barbarian to me. So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that you may abound to the edifying of the church. Wherefore let him that speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.

2 Corinthians 4 : 13 - But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak;

Ephesians 4 : 15 - be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ ...

Colossians 3 : 15 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

James 1 : 26 - If any man thinks himself to be religious, while he bridles not his tongue but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is vain.

James 3 : 3 - Now if we put the horses' bridles into their mouths that they may obey us, we turn about their whole body also. Behold, the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, are yet turned about by a very small rudder, whither the impulse of the steersman wills. ... But the tongue can no man tame; it is a restless evil, it is full of deadly poison.

1 Peter 4 : 10 - according as each has received a gift, ministering it among yourselves, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; if any man speaks, speaking as it were oracles of God; if any man ministers, ministering as of the strength which God supplies: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1 : 16 - And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.

GigaGuy - Mouth, Tongue (Old Testament)

Deuteronomy 30 : 14 - For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not too hard for you, neither is it far off. .... the word is very nigh to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

Joshua 1 : 8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate thereon day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

Job 31 : 29 - If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him; (Yes, I have not suffered my mouth to sin By asking his life with a curse); If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that has not been filled with his meat? (The sojourner has not lodged in the street; But I have opened my doors to the traveller);

Psalm 10 : 7 - His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression: Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.

Psalm 12 : 1 - Help, Jehovah; For the godly man ceases; For the faithful fail from among the children of men. They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak. Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that speaks great things; Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; Our lips are our own: Who is lord over us? Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, says Jehovah...

Psalm 17 : 1 - Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer, that goes not out of feigned lips. Let my sentence come forth from your presence; Let your eyes look upon equity. You have proved my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me, and find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. As for the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent. My steps have held fast to your paths, My feet have not slipped.

Psalm 39 : 1 - I said, I will take heed to my ways, That I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, While the wicked is before me. I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; And my sorrow was stirred.

Psalm 81 : 8 - Hear, O my people, and I will testify to you: O Israel, if you would hearken to me!
There shall no strange god be in you; Neither shall you worship any foreign god .I am Jehovah your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. But my people hearkened not to my voice; And Israel would none of me. So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels. Oh that my people would hearken to me, That Israel would walk in my ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries. The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves to him: But their time should endure for ever. He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy you.

Psalm 141 . 3 - Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; Keep the door of my lips. Incline not my heart to any evil thing, To practise deeds of wickedness With men that work iniquity: And let me not eat of their dainties.

Proverbs 10 : 11 - The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirs up strifes; But love covers all transgressions. In the lips of him that has discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction.

Proverbs 10 : 18 - He that hides hatred is of lying lips; And he that utters a slander is a fool. In the multitude of words there wants not transgression; But he that refrains his lips does wisely. The tongue of the righteous is as choice silver: The heart of the wicked is little worth. The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.(21)

Proverbs 12 : 6 - The words of the wicked are of lying in wait for blood; But the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

Proverbs 18 : 1 - He that separates himself seeks his own desire, And rages against all sound wisdom. A fool has no delight in understanding, But only that his heart may reveal itself. When the wicked comes, there comes also contempt, And with ignominy comes reproach. The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook. To respect the person of the wicked is not good, Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment. A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for stripes. A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts. He also that is slack in his work Is brother to him that is a destroyer. The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it, and is safe. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And as a high wall in his own imagination.

Proverbs 21. 23 - Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.

Proverbs 28 : 23 - He that rebukes a man shall afterward find more favor Than he that flatters with the tongue.

Ecclesiastes 10 : 12 - The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness. A fool also multiplies words: yet man knows not what shall be; and that which shall be after him, who can tell him? The labor of fools wearies every one of them; for he knows not how to go to the city.(15)

Isaiah 6 : 5 - Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: and he touched my mouth with it, and said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.

GigaGuy - Speaking in Tongues (New Testament)

Mark 16 : 17 - And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Acts 2 : 4 - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 10 : 45 - And they of the circumcision that believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 19 : 6 - And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied.

1 Corinthians 14 : 6 - But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching? Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they give not a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? For if the trumpet give an uncertain voice, who shall prepare himself for war? So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for you will be speaking into the air. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Else if you bless with the spirit, how shall he that fills the place of the unlearned say the Amen at your giving of thanks, seeing he knows not what you say? For you verily give thanks well, but the other is not edified. I thank God, I speak with tongues more than you all: howbeit in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue. Brethren, be not children in mind: yet in malice be ye babes, but in mind be men.

1 Corinthians 14 : 17 - What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Else if you bless with the spirit, how shall he that fills the place of the unlearned say the Amen at your giving of thanks, seeing he knows not what you say? For you verily give thanks well, but the other is not edified. I thank God, I speak with tongues more than you all: howbeit in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.
