Hearing from God The Maker (New Testament)

Mark 4 : 9 - And he said, Who has ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parables. And he said to them, To you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to them that are without, all things are done in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest haply they should turn again, and it should be forgiven them.

Luke 6 : 46 - And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

John 2 : 5 - His mother said to the servants, What ever he says to you, do it. Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, Draw out now, and bear to the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.

Acts 8 : 30 - And Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, Do you understand what you read? And he said, How can I, except some one shall guide me?

Acts 9 : 10 - Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus: for behold, he prays; and he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.

2 Timothy 3 : 14 - But abide you in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them. And that from a babe you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely to every good work.

Hearing from God The Maker (Old Testament)

Genesis 4 : 26 - Then began men to call upon the name of Jehovah.

Exodus 20 : 1 - And God spoke all these words, saying, I am Jehovah your God....

Numbers 22 : 1 -  And the children of Israel journeyed, and encamped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho. And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites. And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. And Moab said to the elders of Midian, Now will this multitude lick up all that is round about us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of Moab at that time. And he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, which is by the River, to the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me.Come now therefore, I pray you, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom you blessy is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed. And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came to Balaam, and spoke to him the words of Balak. And he said to them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as Jehovah shall speak to me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam. And God came to Balaam, and said, What men are these with you? And Balaam said to God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying, Behold, the people that is come out of Egypt, it covers the face of the earth: now, come curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to fight against them, and shall drive them out. And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people; for they are blessed. And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said to the princes of Balak, Get you into your land; for Jehovah refuses to give me leave to go with you. And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went to Balak, and said, Balaam refuses to come with us. And Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honorable than they. And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus says Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray you, hinder you from coming to me: for I will promote you to very great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do: come therefore, I pray you, curse me this people. And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of Jehovah my God, to do less or more. Now therefore, I pray you, tarry you also here this night, that I may know what Jehovah will speak to me more.
( 20 )
And God came unto Balaam at night, and said to him, If the men are come to call you, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak to you, that shall you do.

1 Samuel 3 : 9 - Eli perceived that Jehovah had called the child. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call you, that you shall say, Speak, Jehovah; for your servant hears.

1 Samuel 3 : 16 - Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he said, Here am I. And he said, What is the thing that Jehovah has spoken to you? I pray you, hide it not from me: God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that he spoke to you. And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is Jehovah: let him do what seems him good

2 Kings 24 : 1 ( 2 Chronicles 36 : 5 ) In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by his servants the prophets. Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt to the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt. Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done. At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged. And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it. And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign. And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said. And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land. And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. ( 20 ) For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Job 10 : 1 - My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
I will sayto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore you contend with me. Is it good to you that you should oppress, that you should despise the work of your hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked? Have you eyes of flesh? or see you as man sees? Are your days as the days of man? are your years as man’s days,
That you enquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin? You know that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of your hand. Your hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet you do destroy me. Remember, I beseech you, that you have made me as the clay; and will you bring me into dust again? Have you not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? You have clothed me with skin and flesh, and have fenced me with bones and sinews. You have granted me life and favour, and your visitation have preserved my spirit. And these things have you hid in your heart: I know that this is with you

Psalm 131 : 2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Proverbs. 1 : 33 - Whoso hearkens to me shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil. My son, if you will receive my words, And lay up my commandments with you; So as to incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry after discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures: Then shall you understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God. For Jehovah gives wisdom; Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding: He lays up sound wisdom for the upright

Isaiah 30 : 21 - and your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walkin it; when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. And you shall defile the overlaying of your graven images of silver, and the plating of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as an unclean thing; you shall say to it, Get you hence.

Jeremiah 4 : 5 - Declare you in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow you the trumpet in the land: cry aloud and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities. Set up a standard toward Zion: flee for safety, stay not; for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction. A lion is gone up from his thicket, and a destroyer of nations; he is on his way, he is gone forth from his place, to make your land desolate, that your cities be laid waste, without inhabitant. ( 8 ) For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of Jehovah is not turned back from us.

Zechariah - 7 : 11 - But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear. Yes, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which Jehovah of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore there came great wrath from Jehovah of hosts. And it is come to pass that, as he cried, and they would not hear, so they shall cry, and I will not hear, said Jehovah of hosts; but I will scatter them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they have not known. Thus the land was desolate after them, so that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
