A - What The Maker's Manual says -

God The Maker Cares (New Testament)What The Maker's Manual says -

Matthew 10 : 29 ( Luke 12 : 6 ) - Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father: but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows.

Mark 5 : 36 - And when he was entered in, he said to them, Why make a tumult, and weep? the child is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn. But he, having put them all forth, took the father of the child and her mother and them that were with him, and went in where the child was. And taking the child by the hand, he said to her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say to you, Arise. And straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement. And he charged them much that no man should know this: and he commanded that something should be given her to eat.

John 6 : 1 (Matthew 14 : 19, Mark 6 : 32, Luke 9 : 12 ) - After these things Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they beheld the signs which he did on them that were sick. And Jesus went up into the mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. Now the passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand. Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude came to him, said to Philip, Whence are we to buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, Two hundred shillings' worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, There is a lad here, who has five barley loaves, and two fishes: but what are these among so many? Jesus said, Make the people sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. Jesus therefore took the loaves; and having given thanks, he distributed to them that were set down; likewise also of the fishes as much as they would. And when they were filled, he said to his disciples, Gather up the broken pieces which remain over, that nothing be lost. So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which remained over to them that had eaten. When therefore the people saw the sign which he did, they said, This is of a truth the prophet that comes into the world.

John 2 : 23 - Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did. But Jesus did not trust himself to them, for that he knew all men, and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

John 16 : 23 - And in that day you shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say to you, if you shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be made full. These things have I spoken to you in dark sayings: the hour comes, when I shall no more speak to you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father. In that day you shall ask in my name: and I say not to you, that I will pray the Father for you; for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

John 17 : 23 - Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world knew you not, but I knew you; and these knew that you did send me; and I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith you loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Acts 7 : 30 - And when forty years were fulfilled, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush. And when Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold, there came a voice of the Lord, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob. And Moses trembled, and durst not behold. And the Lord said to him, Loose the shoes from your feet: for the place whereon you stand is holy ground. I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I am come down to deliver them: and now come, I will send you into Egypt.

Acts 28 : 1 - And when we were escaped, then we knew that the island was called Melita. And the barbarians showed us no common kindness; for they kindled a fire, and received us all, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out by reason of the heat, and fastened on his hand. And when the barbarians saw the venomous creature hanging from his hand, they said one to another, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped from the sea, yet Justice has not suffered to live. Howbeit he shook off the creature into the fire, and took no harm. But they expected that he would have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but when they were long in expectation and beheld nothing amiss came to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

Colossians 1 : 27- God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Hebrews 11 : 5 - without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing to Him; for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

1 Peter 5 : 5 - Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.

Jude 1 - Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ: Mercy to you and peace and love be multiplied.

God The Maker Cares (Old Testament)

Genesis 5 : 21 - Enoch walked with God

Genesis 8: 21 - And Jehovah smelled the sweet savor; and Jehovah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for that the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Exodus 16 : 16
- This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded, Gather you of it every man according to his eating; an omer a head, according to the number of your persons, shall you take it, every man for them that are in his tent. And the children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less. And when they measured it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. And Moses said to them, Let no man leave of it till the morning. Notwithstanding they hearkened not to Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Moses was wroth with them. And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted. And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said to them, This is that which Jehovah has spoken, Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy sabbath to Jehovah: bake that which you will bake, and boil that which you will boil; and all that remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not become foul, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to-day; for to-day is a sabbath to Jehovah: to-day you shall not find it in the field. Six days you shall gather it; but on the seventh day is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that there went out some of the people to gather, and they found none. And Jehovah said to Moses, How long refuse you to keep my commandments and my laws? See, for that Jehovah has given you the sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day. And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded, Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread wherewith I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt. And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omerful of manna therein, and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept throughout your generations. As Jehovah commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. And the children of Israel did eat the manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat the manna, until they came to the borders of the land of Canaan. Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

Numbers 11 : 18 - And say you to the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and you shall eat flesh: for you have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and you shall eat. You shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome to you: because that you have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and you havesaid, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month. Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them? And the LORD said to Moses, Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass to you or not.

Numbers 11 : 31 - And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth. And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp. And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague. And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted. ( 35 End ) And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

Deuteronomy 33 : 12 - Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Jehovah shall dwell in safety by him; He covers him all the day long, And he dwells between his shoulders.
And of Joseph he said, Blessed of Jehovah be his land, For the precious things of heaven, for the dew, And for the deep that couches beneath, And for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, And for the precious things of the growth of the moons, And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, And for the precious things of the everlasting hills, And for the precious things of the earth and the fulness thereof, And the good will of him that dwelt in the bush. Let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, And upon the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

1 Samuel 2 : 4 - The bows of the mighty men are broken; And they that stumbled are girded with strength. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; And they that were hungry have ceased to hunger: Yes, the barren has borne seven; And she that has many children languishes. Jehovah kills, and makes alive: He brings down to Sheol, and brings up. Jehovah makes poor, and makes rich: He brings low, he also lifts up. He raises up the poor out of the dust, He lifts up the needy from the dunghill, To make them sit with princes, And inherit the throne of glory: For the pillars of the earth are Jehovah's, And he has set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his holy ones; But the wicked shall be put to silence in darkness; For by strength shall no man prevail. They that strive with Jehovah shall be broken to pieces; Against them will he thunder in heaven: Jehovah will judge the ends of the earth; And he will give strength to his king, And exalt the horn of his anointed.

1 Kings 19 : 1 - And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.
Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not your life as the life of one of them by to-morrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer-sheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper-tree: and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, It is enough; now, O Jehovah, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. And he lay down and slept under a juniper-tree; and, behold, an angel touched him, and said to him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a cruse of water. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of Jehovah came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mount of God.

Job 37 : 1 - Yes, at this my heart trembles, And is moved out of its place. Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goes out of his mouth. He sends it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightning to the ends of the earth. After it a voice roars; He thunders with the voice of his majesty; And he restrains not the lightning when his voice is heard. God thunders marvellously with his voice; Great things does he, which we cannot comprehend. For he says to the snow, Fall you on the earth; Likewise to the shower of rain, And to the showers of his mighty rain. He seals up the hand of every man, That all men whom he has made may know it. Then the beasts go into coverts, And remain in their dens. Out of the chamber of the south comes the storm, And cold out of the north. By the breath of God ice is given; And the breadth of the waters is straitened. Yes, he lades the thick cloud with moisture; He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning: And it is turned round about by his guidance, That they may do whatever he commands them Upon the face of the habitable world, Whether it be for correction, or for his land, Or for lovingkindness, that he cause it to come. Hearken to this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. Do you know how God lays his charge upon them, And causes the lightning of his cloud to shine? Do you know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge? How your garments are warm, When the earth is still by reason of the south wind? Can you with him spread out the sky, Which is strong as a molten mirror? Teach us what we shall say to him; For we cannot set our speech in order by reason of darkness. Shall it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up? And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind passes, and clears them. Out of the north comes golden splendor: God has upon him terrible majesty. Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict. Men do therefore fear him: He regards not any that are wise of heart.

Psalm 31 : 19  Oh how great is your goodness, Which you have laid up for them that fear you, Which you have wrought for them that take refuge in you, Before the sons of men! In the covert of your presence will you hide them from the plottings of man: You will keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Blessed be Jehovah; For he has showed me his marvellous lovingkindness in a strong city. As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before your eyes: Nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications When I cried to you. Oh love Jehovah, all you his saints: Jehovah preserves the faithful, And plentifully rewards him that deals proudly. Be strong, and let your heart take courage, All you that hope in Jehovah.

Psalm 45 : 10 - Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; Forget also your own people, and your father's house: So will the king desire your beauty; For he is your lord; And reverence you him.

Psalm 55 : 22 - Cast your burden upon Jehovah, and he will sustain you: He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. But you, O God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction: Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in you.

Psalm 65 : 9 - you visit the earth, and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water: You provide them grain, when you have so prepared the earth. You water its furrows abundantly; You settle the ridges thereof: You make it soft with showers; You bless the springing thereof. You crown the year with your goodness; And your paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy. The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

Psalm 78 : 12 - Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. He clave the sea, and caused them to pass through; And he made the waters to stand as a heap. In the day-time also he led them with a cloud, And all the night with a light of fire. He clave rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink abundantly as out of the depths. He brought streams also out of the rock, And caused waters to run down like rivers.

Psalm 78 : 24 - Therefore Jehovah heard, and was wroth; And a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also went up against Israel; Because they believed not in God, And trusted not in his salvation. Yet he commanded the skies above, And opened the doors of heaven;
And he rained down manna upon them to eat, And gave them food from heaven. Man did eat the bread of the mighty: He sent them food to the full. He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens; And by his power he guided the south wind. He rained flesh also upon them as the dust, And winged birds as the sand of the seas: And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, Round about their habitations. So they did eat, and were well filled; And he gave them their own desire. They were not estranged from that which they desired, Their food was yet in their mouths, When the anger of God went up against them, And slew of the fattest of them, And smote down the young men of Israel. For all this they sinned still, And believed not in his wondrous works. Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, And their years in terror. When he slew them, then they inquired after him; And they returned and sought God earnestly. And they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their redeemer.

Psalm 119 : 168 - ( TAU ) - Let my cry come near before you, O Jehovah: Give me understanding according to your word. Let my supplication come before you: Deliver me according to your word. Let my lips utter praise; For you teach me your statutes. Let my tongue sing of your word; For all your commandments are righteousness. Let your hand be ready to help me; For I have chosen your precepts. I have longed for your salvation, O Jehovah; And your law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; And let your ordinances help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek your servant; For I do not forget your commandments.

Psalm 139 : 1 - O Jehovah, you have searched me, and known me. You know my downsitting and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off. You search out my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, You know it altogether. You have beset me behind and before, And laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain to it. Whither shall I go from your Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall your hand lead me, And your right hand shall hold me.(10)

Psalm 147 : 7 - Sing to Jehovah with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp to our God, Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepars rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow upon the mountains. He gives to the beast his food, And to the young ravens which cry.

Isaiah 27 : 1 - In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea. In that day: A vineyard of wine, sing you to it. I Jehovah am its keeper; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Wrath is not in me: would that the briers and thorns were against me in battle! I would march upon them, I would burn them together. Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; yes, let him make peace with me.

Isaiah 29 : 22 - But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name; yes, they shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall stand in awe of the God of Israel.

Ezekiel 34 : 11 - For thus says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places whither they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them upon the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them with good pasture; and upon the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Jehovah ( 15 ). I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

Ezekiel 46 : 19 - Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the hinder part westward. And he said to me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass-offering and the sin-offering, and where they shall bake the meal-offering; that they bring them not forth into the outer court, to sanctify the people. Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court. In the four corners of the court there were courts inclosed, forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four in the corners were of one measure. And there was a wall round about in them, round about the four, and boiling-places were made under the walls round about. ( 24 ) Then said he to me, These are the boiling-houses, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.

Jonah 1 : 11 - Then said they to him, What shall we do to you, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea grew more and more tempestuous. And he said to them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm to you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you. Nevertheless the men rowed hard to get them back to the land; but they could not: for the sea grew more and more tempestuous against them. Wherefore they cried to Jehovah, and said, We beseech you, O Jehovah, we beseech you, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood; for you, O Jehovah, have done as it pleased you. So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea; and the sea ceased from its raging. Then the men feared Jehovah exceedingly; and they offered a sacrifice to Jehovah, and made vows. And Jehovah prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Zechariah 10 : 1 - Ask you of Jehovah rain in the time of the latter rain, even of Jehovah that makes lightnings; and he will give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie; and they have told false dreams, they comfort in vain: therefore they go their way like sheep, they are afflicted, because there is no shepherd. My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the he-goats; for Jehovah of hosts has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his goodly horse in the battle. From him shall come forth the corner-stone, from him the nail, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.

The Maker - Opens Up Opportunities (New Testament)

Acts 14 : 27 - And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. And there they abode long time with the disciples.

1 Corinthians 16 : 9 - Now I will come to you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. And it may be that I will abide, yes, and winter with you, that you may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
For a great door and effectual is opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

2 Corinthians 2 : 12 - Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened to me of the Lord,
I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Colossians 4 : 3 - Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open to us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Revelation 3 : 8 - And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things says he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens; I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and has kept my word, and has not denied my name.

The Maker - Opens Up Opportunities (Old Testament)

Isaiah 45 : 1 - Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded you, though you have not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.( 8 )

God The Maker - Draws, Teaches (NewTestament)

John 6 : 44 - No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that has heard from the Father, and has learned, comes to me.

1 John 4 : 19 - We love, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment have we from him, that he who loves God love his brother also.

God The Maker - Draws, Teaches (Old Testament)

Genesis 17 : 18 - And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I do; seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? ( 19 ) For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him.

Exodus 15 : 22 - And Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? An he cried to Jehovah; And Jehovah showed him a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet.

Hosea 11 : 1 - When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. The more the prophets called them, the more they went from them: they sacrificed to the Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. Yet I taught Ephraim to walk; I took them on my arms; but they knew not that I healed them. I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love; and I was to them as they that lift up the yoke on their jaws; and I laid food before them.

God The Maker - Strengthens the Weak (Old Testament)

Exodus 4 : 27 And Jehovah said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mountain of God, and kissed him. And Moses told Aaron all the words of Jehovah wherewith he had sent him, and all the signs wherewith he had charged him. And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: and Aaron spoke all the words which Jehovah had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people. And the people believed: and when they heard that Jehovah had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

Exodus 5 : 22 - And Moses returned to Jehovah, and said, Lord, wherefore have you dealt ill with this people? why is it that you have sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has dealt ill with this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.

Exodus 6 : 1 - And Jehovah said to Moses, Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I am Jehovah: and I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Jehovah I was not known to them. And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they sojourned. And moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Wherefore say to the children of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments: and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am Jehovah your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you in to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for a heritage: I am Jehovah. And Moses spoke so to the children of Israel: but they hearkened not to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.(10)

2 Chronicles 32 : 1 - After these things, and this faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to win them for himself. And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, he took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city; and they helped him. So there was gathered much people together, and they stopped all the fountains, and the brook that flowed through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water? And he took courage, and built up all the wall that was broken down, and raised it up to the towers, and the other wall without, and strengthened Millo in the city of David, and made weapons and shields in abundance. And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the broad place at the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying, Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him; for there is a greater with us than with him:
( 8 ) with him is an arm of flesh; but with us is Jehovah our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Zechariah 10 : 10 - I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. And he will pass through the sea of affliction, and will smite the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up; and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart. And I will strengthen them in Jehovah; and they shall walk up and down in his name, says Jehovah.

God The Maker Intervenes (Old Testament)

Genesis 6 : 5 - And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.

Genesis 11 : 5 - And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Genesis 18 : 20 - And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come to me; and if not, I will know.

Genesis 21 : 14 - And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, What ails you, Hagar? fear not; for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 2 : 23 - And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up to God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect to them.

Exodus 3 : 7 - And Jehovah said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people that are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good land and a large, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. And now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come to me: moreover I have seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Exodus 12 : 23 - Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover. And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you. And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever. And it shall come to pass, when you are come to the land which Jehovah will give you, according as he has promised, that you shall keep this service. And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, What mean you by this service? that you shall say, It is the sacrifice of Jehovah’s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. And the children of Israel went and did so; as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they (28).

Exodus 19 : 1 - In the third month after the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they to the wilderness of Sinai. And when they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mount. And Moses went up to God, and Jehovah called to him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself. Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.

Deuteronomy 4 : 13 - And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And Jehovah commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, that you might do them in the land whither you go over to possess it.

1 Samuel 14 : 15 - And there was a trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people; the garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled; and the earth quaked: so there was an exceeding great trembling. And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude melted away, and they went hither and thither. Then said Saul to the people that were with him, Number now, and see who is gone from us. And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armorbearer were not there. And Saul said to Ahijah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was there at that time with the children of Israel. And it came to pass, while Saul talked to the priest, that the tumult that was in the camp of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said to the priest, Withdraw your hand. And Saul and all the people that were with him were gathered together, and came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture. Now the Hebrews that were with the Philistines as beforetime, and that went up with them into the camp, from the country round about, even they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Jonathan. Likewise all the men of Israel that had hid themselves in the hill-country of Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle. So Jehovah saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over by Beth-aven.23

Ruth 2 : 15 - And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not. And also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it, and let her glean, and rebuke her not. So she gleaned in the field until even; and she beat out that which she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley. And she took it up, and went into the city; and her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth and gave to her that which she had left after she was sufficed. And her mother-in-law said to her, Where have you gleaned to-day? and where have you wrought? blessed be he that did take knowledge of you. And she showed her mother-in-law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to-day is Boaz. And Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, Blessed be he of Jehovah, who has not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said to her, The man is nigh of kin to us, one of our near kinsmen. And Ruth the Moabitess said, Yes, he said to me, You shall keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest. ( 22 ) And Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, and that they meet you not in any other field. So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz, to glean to the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and she dwelt with her mother-in-law.( 23 End )

Psalm 86 : 14 - O God, the proud are risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set you before them. But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth. Oh turn to me, and have mercy upon me; Give your strength to your servant, And save the son of your handmaid. Show me a token for good, That they who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because you, Jehovah, have helped me, and comforted me.

Psalm 105 : 1 - Oh give thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known among the peoples his doings.Sing to him, sing praises to him; Talk you of all his marvelous works.Glory you in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah. Seek you Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore. Remember his marvellous works that he has done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, O you seed of Abraham his servant, You children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is Jehovah our God: His judgments are in all the earth.
He has remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations, The covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath to Isaac, And confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance; When they were but a few men in number, Yes, very few, and sojourners in it. And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people. He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not my anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm. And he called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread. He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant: His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in chains of iron, Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him. The king sent and loosed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance; To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom. Israel also came into Egypt; And Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. And he increased his people greatly, And made them stronger than their adversaries.
He turned their heart to hate his people, To deal subtly with his servants. He sent Moses his servant, And Aaron whom he had chosen. They set among them his signs, And wonders in the land of Ham. He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words. He turned their waters into blood, And slew their fish. Their land swarmed with frogs In the chambers of their kings. He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their borders. He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land. He smote their vines also and their fig-trees, And broke the trees of their borders. He spoke, and the locust came, And the grasshopper, and that without number, And did eat up every herb in their land, And did eat up the fruit of their ground. He smote also all the first-born in their land, The chief of all their strength. And he brought them forth with silver and gold; And there was not one feeble person among his tribes.Egypt was glad when they departed; For the fear of them had fallen upon them. He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light in the night. They asked, and he brought quails, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; They ran in the dry places like a river. For he remembered his holy word, And Abraham his servant.(42)

Ezekiel 36 : 1 - And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah. Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy has said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession; therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people; therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus says the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about; therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations: therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah: I have sworn, saying, Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame. But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown; and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded; and I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better to you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am Jehovah. Yes, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children ( 12 ).

Hosea 13 : 5 - I did know you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted: therefore have they forgotten me. Therefore am I to them as a lion; as a leopard will I watch by the way; I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart; and there will I devour them like a lioness; the wild beast shall tear them.

Nahum 1 : 7 - Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that take refuge in him.

Daniel 3 : 28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other god that is able to deliver after this sort. Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in the province of Babylon.

Hebrews 12 : 26 - See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warns from heaven: whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more will I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe: for our God is a consuming fire.

God The Maker Provides Generously (New Testament)

Romans 8 : 32 - He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies;

Romans 11 : 33 - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out! For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? or who has first given to him, and it shall be recompensed to him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.

Ephesians 1 : 5 - having foreordained us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved: in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him to a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him,

God The Maker Provides Generously (Old Testament)

Genesis 45 : 9 - Haste you, and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says your son Joseph, God has made me lord of all Egypt: come down to me, tarry not; and you shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you, and your children, and your children’s children, and your flocks, and your herds, and all that you have: and there will I nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have. And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you. And you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen: and you shall haste and bring down my father hither. And he fell upon his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck. And he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him. And the report thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, Joseph’s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brethren, This do you: lade your beasts, and go, get you to the land of Canaan; and take your father and your households, and come to me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land

2 Kings 3 : 16 - And he said, Thus says Jehovah, Make this valley full of trenches. For thus says Jehovah, You shall not see wind, neither shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, and you shall drink, both you and your cattle and your beasts. And this is but a light thing in the sight of Jehovah: he will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. And you shall smite every fortified city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all fountains of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones. And it came to pass in the morning, about the time of offering the oblation, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

2 Kings 4 : 3 - Then he said, Go, borrow you vessels abroad of all your neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And you shall go in, and shut the door upon you and upon your sons, and pour out into all those vessels; and you shall set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons; they brought the vessels to her, and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said to her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt, and live you and your sons of the rest.

1 Chronicles 29 : 14 - But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of your own have we given you. For we are strangers before you, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding. O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build you a house for your holy name comes of your hand, and is all your own. I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, that are present here, offer willingly to you.

Psalm 21 : 1 - The king shall joy in your strength, O Jehovah; And in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart’s desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. [Selah] For you meet him with the blessings of goodness: You set a crown of fine gold on his head. He asked life of you, youou gave it him, Even length of days for ever and ever.
His glory is great in your salvation: Honor and majesty do you lay upon him. For you make him most blessed for ever: You make him glad with joy in your presence.

Psalm 50 : 10 - For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay your vows to the Most High:And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
