A - What The Maker's Manual says -
God the Maker - Creator (Old Testament)

Genesis 1 : 1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years: and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made the two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that moves, wherewith the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth. And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind: and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground after its kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth ( 26 ).

Creation (New Testament)

John 1 : 2 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that has been made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Colossians 1 : 16 - for in him were all things created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and to him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

Hebrews 1 : 1 - God, having of old time spoken to the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners, has at the end of these days spoken to us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;

Hebrews 11 : 3 - By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which appear.

Revelation 4 : 8 - And when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanks to him that sits on the throne, to him that lives for ever and ever, the four and twenty elders shall fall down before him that sits on the throne, and shall worship him that lives for ever and ever, and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Worthy are you, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power: for you did create all things, and because of your will they were, and were created.

Creation (Old Testament)

Genesis 1 : 26 - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them: and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food: and to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for food: and it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them ( 31 ).

Genesis 1 : 28 - And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them: and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food: and to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for food: and it was so ( 30 ).

Genesis 5 : 1 - This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Deuteronomy 32 : 1 - Give ear, O you heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. Do you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he your father that has bought you? has he not made you, and established you? Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask your father, and he will shew you; your elders, and they will tell you. When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

1 Chronicles 16 : 1 - And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God. And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah. And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of flesh, and a cake of raisins. And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Jehovah, the God of Israel: Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud; and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God. Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks to Jehovah, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren. O give thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his doings among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him; Talk you of all his marvellous works. Glory you in his holy name; Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah. Seek you Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore. Remember his marvellous works that he has done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, O you seed of Israel his servant, You children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is Jehovah our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations, The covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath to Isaac, And confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant, Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance; When you were but a few men in number, Yes, very few, and sojourners in it; ( 20 ) And they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people. He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not my anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm. Sing to Jehovah, all the earth; Show forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples. For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols: But Jehovah made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and gladness are in his place. Ascribe to Jehovah, you kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength; Ascribe to Jehovah the glory due to his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy array. ( 30 )Tremble before him, all the earth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigns. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein; Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before Jehovah; For he comes to judge the earth. ( 34 ) O give thanks to Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endures for ever.

Nehemiah 9 : 6 - You are Jehovah, even you alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are thereon, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all; and the host of heaven worships you. You are Jehovah the God, who did choose Abram, and brought him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gave him the name of Abraham, and found his heart faithful before you, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite, and the Girgashite, to give it to his seed, and have performed your words; for you are righteous. And you saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heard their cry by the Red Sea, and showed signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land; for you knew that they dealt proudly against them, and did get you a name, as it is this day. And you did divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers you did cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters. Moreover in a pillar of cloud you led them by day; and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.

Job 36 : 25 - All men have looked thereon; Man beholds it afar off. Behold, God is great, and we know him not; The number of his years is unsearchable. For he draws up the drops of water, Which distil in rain from his vapor, Which the skies pour down And drop upon man abundantly. Yes, can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, The thunderings of his pavilion? Behold, he spreads his light around him; And he covers the bottom of the sea. For by these he judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance. He covers his hands with the lightning, And gives it a charge that it strike the mark. The noise thereof tells concerning him, The cattle also concerning the storm that comes up.

Job 38 : 1 - Then Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge? Gird up now your loins like a man; For I will demand of you, and declare you to me.Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who determined the measures thereof, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner-stone thereof, When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy? ( 8 )

Job 39 : 1 - Know you the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? Or can you mark when the hinds do calve? Can you number the months that they fulfil? Or know you the time when they bring forth? They bow themselves, they bring forth their young, They cast out their pains. Their young ones become strong, they grow up in the open field; They go forth, and return not again. Who has sent out the wild ass free? Or who has loosed the bonds of the swift ass, Whose home I have made the wilderness, And the salt land his dwelling-place? He scorns the tumult of the city, Neither hears he the shoutings of the driver. The range of the mountains is his pasture, And he searches after every green thing. Will the wild-ox be content to serve you? Or will he abide by your crib? Can you bind the wild-ox with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after you? Will you trust him, because his strength is great? Or will you leave to him your labor? Will you confide in him, that he will bring home your seed, And gather the grain of your threshing-floor? The wings of the ostrich wave proudly; But are they the pinions and plumage of love? For she leaves her eggs on the earth, And warms them in the dust, And forgets that the foot may crush them, Or that the wild beast may trample them. She deals hardly with her young ones, as if they were not hers: Though her labor be in vain, she is without fear; Because God has deprived her of wisdom, Neither has he imparted to her understanding. What time she lifts up herself on high, She scorns the horse and his rider. Have you given the horse his might? Have you clothed his neck with the quivering mane? Have you made him to leap as a locust? The glory of his snorting is terrible. He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength: He goes out to meet the armed men. He mocks at fear, and is not dismayed; Neither turns he back from the sword. The quiver rattles against him, The flashing spear and the javelin. He swallows the ground with fierceness and rage; Neither believes he that it is the voice of the trumpet. As oft as the trumpet sounds he says, Aha! And he smells the battle afar off, The thunder of the captains, and the shouting. Is it by tyour wisdom that the hawk soars, (And) stretches her wings toward the south? Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up, And makes her nest on high? On the cliff she dwells, and makes her home, Upon the point of the cliff, and the stronghold. From thence she spies out the prey; Her eyes behold it afar off. Her young ones also suck up blood: And where the slain are, there is she.

Job 40 : 1 - Moreover Jehovah answered Job, and said, Shall he that cavills contend with the Almighty? He that argues with God, let him answer it. Then Job answered Jehovah, and said, Behold, I am of small account; What shall I answer you? I lay my hand upon my mouth. Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further. Then Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Gird up your loins now like a man: I will demand of you, and declare you to me. Will you even annul my judgment? Will you condemn me, that you may be justified? Or have you an arm like God? And can you thunder with a voice like him? Deck yourself now with excellency and dignity; And array yourself with honor and majesty. Pour forth the overflowings of your anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him. Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand. Hide them in the dust together; Bind their faces in the hidden place. Then will I also confess of you That your own right hand can save you. Behold now, behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, And his force is in the muscles of his belly. He moves his tail like a cedar: The sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are as tubes of brass; His limbs are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: He only that made him gives him his sword. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, Where all the beasts of the field do play. He lies under the lotus-trees, In the covert of the reed, and the fen. The lotus-trees cover him with their shade; The willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, if a river overflow, he trembles not; He is confident, though a Jordan swell even to his mouth. Shall any take him when he is on the watch, Or pierce through his nose with a snare?

Job 41 : 1 - Can you draw out leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? Can you put a rope into his nose? Or pierce his jaw through with a hook? Will he make many supplications to you? Or will he speak soft words to you? Will he make a covenant with you, That you should take him for a servant for ever? Will you play with him as with a bird? Or will you bind him for your maidens? Will the bands of fishermen make traffic of him? Will they part him among the merchants? Can you fill his skin with barbed irons, Or his head with fish-spears? Lay your hand upon him; Remember the battle, and do so no more. Behold, the hope of him is in vain: Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him? None is so fierce that he dare stir him up; Who then is he that can stand before me? Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine. I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Nor his mighty strength, nor his goodly frame. Who can strip off his outer garment? Who shall come within his jaws? Who can open the doors of his face? Round about his teeth is terror. His strong scales are his pride, Shut up together as with a close seal. One is so near to another, That no air can come between them. They are joined one to another; They stick together, so that they cannot be sundered. His sneezings flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning torches, And sparks of fire leap forth. Out of his nostrils a smoke goes, As of a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes forth from his mouth. In his neck abides strength, And terror dances before him. The flakes of his flesh are joined together. They are firm upon him; They cannot be moved. His heart is as firm as a stone; Yes, firm as the nether millstone. When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid: By reason of consternation they are beside themselves. If one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; Nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft. He counts iron as straw, And brass as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee: Sling-stones are turned with him into stubble. Clubs are counted as stubble: He laughs at the rushing of the javelin. His underparts are like sharp potsherds: He spreads as it were a threshing-wain upon the mire. He makes the deep to boil like a pot: He makes the sea like a pot of ointment. He makes a path to shine after him; One would think the deep to be hoary. Upon earth there is not his like, That is made without fear. He beholds everything that is high: He is king over all the sons of pride.

Psalm 19 : 1 - The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows his handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices as a strong man to run his course. His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Psalm 33 : 6 - By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, And all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap: He lays up the deeps in store-houses. Let all the earth fear Jehovah: Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Jehovah brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. The counsel of Jehovah stands fast for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Psalm 74 : 12 - Yet God is my King of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth. You divided the sea by your strength: You broke the heads of the sea-monsters in the waters. You broke the heads of leviathan in pieces; You gave him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness. You did cleave fountain and flood: You dried up mighty rivers. The day is yours, the night also is yours: You have prepared the light and the sun. You have set all the borders of the earth: You have made summer and winter.

Psalm 104 : 13 - He waters the mountains from his chambers: The earth is filled with the fruit of your works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth, And wine that makes glad the heart of man, And oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengthens man's heart. The trees of Jehovah are filled with moisture, The cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted; Where the birds make their nests: As for the stork, the fir-trees are her house. The high mountains are for the wild goats; The rocks are a refuge for the conies. He appointed the moon for seasons: The sun knows his going down. You make darkness, and it is night, Wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth. The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. The sun arises, they get them away, And lay them down in their dens. Man goes forth unto his work And to his labor until the evening. O Jehovah, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all: The earth is full of your riches. Yonder is the sea, great and wide, Wherein are things creeping innumerable, Both small and great beasts. There go the ships; There is leviathan, whom you have formed to play therein. These wait all for you, That you may give them their food in due season. You give to them, they gather; You open your hand, they are satisfied with good. You hide your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die, And return to their dust. (29)

Psalm 134 : 1 - ( A Song of degrees) - Behold, bless you the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. The LORD that made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion.

Psalm 148 : 1 - Praise you Jehovah. Praise you Jehovah from the heavens: Praise him in the heights. Praise you him, all his angels: Praise you him, all his host. Praise you him, sun and moon: Praise him, all you stars of light. Praise him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters that are above the heavens. Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For he commanded, and they were created. He has also established them for ever and ever: He has made a decree which shall not pass away. Praise Jehovah from the earth, You sea-monsters, and all deeps. Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word; Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying birds; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and virgins; Old men and children: Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens. And he hats lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise you Jehovah. ( 14 All )

Proverbs 3 : 13 - Happy is the man that finds wisdom, And the man that gets understanding. For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: And none of the things you can desire are to be compared to her. Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: And happy is every one that retains her. Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths were broken up, And the skies drop down the dew. My son, let them not depart from your eyes; Keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life to your soul, And grace to your neck. Then shall you walk in your way securely, And your foot shall not stumble.

Proverbs 8 : 22 - Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth; While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world. When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep, When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong, When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth; Then I was by him, as a master workman; And I was daily his delight, Rejoicing always before him, Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men ( 31 ).

Isaiah 40 : 28 - Have you not known? have you not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to him that has no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint( 31 ).

Isaiah 45 : 18 - For thus says Jehovah that created the heavens, the God that formed the earth and made it, that established it and created it not a waste, that formed it to be inhabited: I am Jehovah; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not to the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I, Jehovah, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right ( 19 )

Isaiah 65 : 8 - Thus says Jehovah, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me. But you that forsake Jehovah, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for Fortune, and that fill up mingled wine to Destiny; I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not. Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame; behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit. And you shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Jehovah will slay you; and he will call his servants by another name: ( 16 ) so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from my eyes.

Jeremiah 10 : 12 ( and Jeremiah 51 : 15 ) - He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens: when he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain, and brings forth the wind out of his treasuries.

Amos 4 : 13 - For, lo, he that forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought; that makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth--Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.

Hosea 8 : 14 - For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.
