A - What The Maker's Manual says -

Access, Boldness, Confidence - (New Testament)

John 14 : 6 - Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him. Philip said to him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it suffices us. Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Shew us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.

Romans 5 : 1 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2 : 18 - For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together grows to an holy temple in the Lord: In whom you also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Ephesians 3 : 12 - According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.Wherefore I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

1 Timothy 2 : 5 - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Hebrews 4 : 15 - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 10 : 19 - Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having a high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

1 John 1 : 3 .... that which we have seen and heard declare we to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us: yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.... If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

God the Maker - Intimacy, Oneness (New Testament)

Matthew 10 : 29
- Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father: but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows.

John 2 : 25 -Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did. But Jesus did not trust himself to them, for that he knew all men, and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

John 8 : 13 - The Pharisees therefore said to him, You bear witness of yourself; your witness is not true. Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I bear witness of myself, my witness is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but you know not whence I come, or whither I go. You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. Yes and if I judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. Yes and in your law it is written, that the witness of two men is true. I am he that bears witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me. They said therefore to him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You know neither me, nor my Father: if you knew me, you would know my Father also. These words spoke he in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man took him; because his hour was not yet come.

John 10 : 30 - I and the Father are one. The Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from the Father; for which of those works do you stone me? The Jews answered him, For a good work we stone you not, but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, you are gods? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken), say you of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do them, though you believe not me, believe the works: that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. They sought again to take him: and he went forth out of their hand. And he went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was at the first baptizing; and there be abode. And many came to him; and they said, John indeed did no sign: but all things whatever John spoke of this man were true. And many believed on him there.

John 14 : 8 - If you had known me, you would have known my Father also: from henceforth you know him, and have seen him. Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us. Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and do you not know me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; how say you, Show us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say to you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

John 14 : 15 - If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 15 : 1 - I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that bears not fruit, he takes it away: and every branch that bears fruit, he cleanses it, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can you, except you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit: for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever you will, and it shall be done to you. Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so shall you be my disciples.

John 16 : 27 .... for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

Romans 8 : 35 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1 : 9 - thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus; that in everything you were enriched in him, in all utterance and all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall also confirm you to the end, that you be unreproveable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

2 Corinthians 6 : 1 - And working together with him we entreat also that you receive not the grace of God in vain for he says, At an acceptable time I hearkened to you, And in a day of salvation did I succor you: behold, now is the time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Ephesians 1 : 1 - Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints that are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

Colossians 1 : 27- even the mystery which has been hid for ages and generations: but now has it been manifested to his saints, to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

John 17 : 23 - Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word; that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that you did send me. And the glory which you have given me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you did send me, and loved them, even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world knew you not, but I knew you; and these knew that you did send me; and I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith you loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Hebrews 2 : 17 - Wherefore it behoved him in all things to be made like to his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.

Hebrews 11 : 5 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God translated him: for he has had witness borne to him that before his translation he had been well-pleasing to God:

James 4 : 8 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you doubleminded.

Jude 14 - And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

1 John 3 : 2 - Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

1 John 4 : 13 - hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we know and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love; and he that abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

God the Maker - Intimacy, Oneness - (Old Testament)

Genesis 5 : 21 - And Enoch lived sixty five years, and begat Methuselah: and Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: and all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty five years: and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6 : 8 - But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, and perfect in his generations: Noah walked with God.

1 Chronicles 12 : 23 - And these are the numbers of the heads of them that were armed for war, who came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of Jehovah. The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, armed for war. Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the war, seven thousand and one hundred. Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred. And Jehoiada was the leader of the house of Aaron; and with him were three thousand and seven hundred, and Zadok, a young man mighty of valor, and of his father’s house twenty and two captains. And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept their allegiance to the house of Saul. And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, famous men in their fathers’ houses. And of the half-tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were mentioned by name, to come and make David king. And of the children of Issachar, men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. Of Zebulun, such as were able to go out in the host, that could set the battle in array, with all manner of instruments of war, fifty thousand, and that could order the battle array, and were not of double heart. And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand. And of the Danites that could set the battle in array, twenty and eight thousand and six hundred. And of Asher, such as were able to go out in the host, that could set the battle in array, forty thousand. And on the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half-tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, a hundred and twenty thousand. All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king. And they were there with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had made preparation for them. Moreover they that were nigh to them, even as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, victuals of meal, cakes of figs, and clusters of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep in abundance: for there was joy in Israel.

Deuteronomy 4 : 5 - Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the land whither you go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who has God so nigh to them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? ( 8 )

Job 36 : 1 - Moreover Elihu answered and said, Think you this to be your right, Or say you, My righteousness is more than God’s, That you say, What advantage will it be to you? And, What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned? I will answer you, And your companions with you. Look to the heavens, and see; And behold the skies, which are higher than you. If you have sinned, what effect you against him? And if your transgressions be multiplied, what do you to him? If you be righteous, what give you him? Or what receives he of your hand? Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; And your righteousness may profit a son of man. By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty. But none says, Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night, Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, And makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens? There they cry, but none gives answer, Because of the pride of evil men. Surely God will not hear an empty cry, Neither will the Almighty regard it. How much less when you say you behold him not, The cause is before him, and you wait for him! But now, because he has not visited in his anger, Neither does he greatly regard arrogance; Therefore does Job open his mouth in vanity; He multiplies words without knowledge.

Psalm 23 : 6 - Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You have anointed my head with oil; My cup runs over.Surely goodness and lovingkindness shall follow me all the days of my life; And I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for ever.

Psalm 26 : 8 - Jehovah, I love the habitation of your house, And the place where your glory dwells. Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood; In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful to me. My foot stands in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

Psalm 27 : 4 - One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle will he hide me; He will lift me up upon a rock. And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me. And I will offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Jehovah. Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice: Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When you said, Seek you my face; My heart said to you, Your face, Jehovah, will I seek. Hide not your face from me; Put not your servant away in anger: You have been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then Jehovah will take me up. Teach me your way, O Jehovah; And lead me in a plain path, Because of my enemies. Deliver me not over to the will of my adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah In the land of the living.

Psalm 80 : 8 - You brought a vine out of Egypt: you did drive out the nations, and planted it.
You prepared room before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land. The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were like cedars of God. It sent out its branches to the sea, And its shoots to the River.
Why have you broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it? The boar out of the wood does ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it. Turn again, we beseech you, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine, And the stock which your right hand planted, And the branch that you made strong for yourself. It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of your countenance. Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, Upon the son of man whom you made strong for thyself. So shall we not go back from you: Quicken you us, and we will call on your name. Turn us again, O Jehovah God of hosts; Cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

Psalm 84 : 12 - For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah
How amiable are your tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of Jehovah; My heart and my flesh cry out to the living God. Yes, the sparrow has found her a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even your altars, O Jehovah of hosts, My King, and my God. Blessed are they that dwell in your house: They will be still praising thee. [Selah]
Blessed is the man whose strength is in you; In whose heart are the highways to Zion. Passing through the valley of Weeping they make it a place of springs; Yes, the early rain covers it with blessings. They go from strength to strength; Every one of them appears before God in Zion. O Jehovah God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob. [Selah]
Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of your anointed. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Jehovah of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusts in you.

Psalm 85 : 1 - Jehovah, you have been favorable to your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. You have forgiven the iniquity of your people; You have covered all their sin. [Selah] You have taken away all your wrath; You have turned yourself from the fierceness of your anger. Turn us, O God of our salvation, And cause your indignation toward us to cease. Will you be angry with us for ever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations? Will you not quicken us again, That your people may rejoice in you? Show us your lovingkindness, O Jehovah, And grant us your salvation.

Psalm 119 : 166 - I have hoped for your salvation, O Jehovah, And have done your commandments. My soul has observed your testimonies; And I love them exceedingly. I have observed your precepts and your testimonies; For all my ways are before you.

Psalm 139 : 1 - O Jehovah, You have searched me, and known me. You know my downsitting and mine uprising; You understand my thought afar off. You search out my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, you know it altogether. You have beset me behind and before, And laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain to it. Whither shall I go from Your Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall your hand lead me, And your right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall overwhelm me, And the light about me shall be night; Even the darkness hides not from You, But the night shines as the day: The darkness and the light are both alike to you. For you did form my inward parts: You did cover me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you; For I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are your works; And that my soul knows right well. My frame was not hidden from you, When I was made in secret, And curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes did see my unformed substance; And in your book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.

Song of Songs 1 : 5 - Rightly do they love you. I am black, but comely, Oh you daughters of Jerusalem, As the tents of Kedar, As the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am swarthy, Because the sun has scorched me. My mother’s sons were incensed against me; They made me keeper of the vineyards; But mine own vineyard have I not kept. Tell me, O you whom my soul loves, Where you feed your flock, Where you make it to rest at noon: For why should I be as one that is veiled Beside the flocks of your companions?

Song of Songs 1 : 9 - I have compared you, O my love, To a steed in Pharaoh’s chariots. Your cheeks are comely with plaits of hair, Your neck with strings of jewels. We will make you plaits of gold With studs of silver. While the king sat at his table, My spikenard sent forth its fragrance. My beloved is to me as a bundle of myrrh, That lies betwixt my breasts. My beloved is to me as a cluster of henna-flowers In the vineyards of En-gedi. Behold, you are fair, my love; Behold you are fair; Your eyes are as doves. Behold, you are fair, my beloved, yes, pleasant: Also our couch is green. The beams of our house are cedars, And our rafters are firs.( 17 )

Song of Songs 2 : 1 - I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love. His left hand is under my head, and his right hand does embrace me. I charge you, O you daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that you stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please ( 7 )

Song of Songs 7 : 1 - How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O prince’s daughter! Your rounded thighs are like jewels, The work of the hands of a skilful workman. Your body is like a round goblet, Wherein no mingled wine is wanting: Your waist is like a heap of wheat Set about with lilies. Your two breasts are like two fawns That are twins of a roe. Your neck is like the tower of ivory; Your eyes as the pools in Heshbon, By the gate of Bath-rabbim; Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon Which looks toward Damascus. Thy head upon thee is like Carmel, And the hair of thy head like purple; The king is held captive in the tresses thereof. How fair and how pleasant are you, O love, for delights! This your stature is like to a palm-tree, And your breasts to its clusters. I said, I will climb up into the palm-tree, I will take hold of the branches thereof: Let your breasts be as clusters of the vine, And the smell of your breath like apples, And your mouth like the best wine, That goes down smoothly for my beloved, Gliding through the lips of those that are asleep.(9)

Song of Songs 8 : 12 - Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard to keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver. My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: you, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred. You that dwells in the gardens, the companions hearken to your voice: cause me to hear it. Make haste, my beloved, and be you like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.

Isaiah 29 : 22 - Therefore thus says Jehovah, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name; yes, they shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall stand in awe of the God of Israel.

Help - He's Not Around! - (Old Testament)

Job 33 : 19 - He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, And with continual strife in his bones; So that his life abhors bread, And his soul dainty food. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; And his bones that were not seen stick out. Yes, his soul draws near to the pit, And his life to the destroyers. If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To show to man what is right for him; Then God is gracious to him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s; He returns to the days of his youth. He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, So that he sees his face with joy: And he restors to man his righteousness. He sings before men, and says, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, And it profited me not: He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit, And my life shall behold the light.Lo, all these things does God work, Twice, yes thrice, with a man, To bring back his soul from the pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of the living. Mark well, O Job, hearken to me: Hold your peace, and I will speak. If you have anything to say, answer me: Speak, for I desire to justify you. If not, hearken you to me: Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom

Psalm 22 : 1 - For the Chief Musician; set to Aijeleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you answery not; And in the night season, and am not silent. But you are holy, O you that inhabits the praises of Israel.

Psalm 28 : 1 - A Psalm of David. Unto you, O Jehovah, will I call: My rock, be not you deaf to me; Lest, if you be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to you, When I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle. Draw me not away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert. Because they regard not the works of Jehovah, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up. Blessed be Jehovah, Because he has heard the voice of my supplications. Jehovah is my strength and my shield; My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoices; And with my song will I praise him. Jehovah is their strength, And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed. Save your people, and bless your inheritance: Be their shepherd also, and bear them up for ever.

Psalm 30 : 7 - A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House. A Psalm of David. I will extol you, O Jehovah; For you have raised me up, And have not made my foes to rejoice over me. O Jehovah my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me. O Jehovah, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to Jehovah, O you saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial name.

Psalm 35 : 16 - Like the profane mockers in feasts, They gnashed upon me with their teeth. Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions. I will give you thanks in the great assembly: I will praise you among much people. Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. For they speak not peace; But they devise deceitful words against them that are quiet in the land. Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me; They said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it. You have seen it, O Jehovah; Keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Stir up yourself, and awake to the justice due to me, Even to my cause, my God and my Lord. Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to your righteousness; And let them not rejoice over me. Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up. Let them be put to shame and confounded together that rejoice at my hurt: Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.

Psalm 44 : 22 - Yes, for your sake are we killed all the day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Awake, why sleep you, O Lord? Arise, cast us not off for ever. Wherefore hide you your face, And forget our affliction and our oppression? For our soul is bowed down to the dust: Our body cleaves to the earth. Rise up for our help, And redeem us for your lovingkindness’ sake.

Psalm 74 : 18 - Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah, And that a foolish people hath blasphemed your name. Oh deliver not the soul of your turtle-dove to the wild beast: Forget not the life of your poor for ever. Have respect to the covenant; For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of violence. Oh let not the oppressed return ashamed: Let the poor and needy praise your name. Arise, O God, plead your own cause: Remember how the foolish man reproaches you all the day. Forget not the voice of your adversaries: The tumult of those that rise up against you ascend continually.

Song of Songs 5 : 1 - I am come into my garden, my sister, my bride: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends; Drink, yes, drink abundantly, O beloved. I was asleep, but my heart waked: It is the voice of my beloved that knocks, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled; For my head is filled with dew, My locks with the drops of the night. I have put off my garment; How shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, And my heart was moved for him. I rose up to open to my beloved; And my hands dropped with myrrh, And my fingers with liquid myrrh, Upon the handles of the bolt. I opened to my beloved; But my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone. My soul had failed me when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. The watchmen that go about the city found me, They smote me, they wounded me; The keepers of the walls took away my mantle from me. I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, That you tell him, that I am sick from love. What is your beloved more than another beloved, O you fairest among women? What is your beloved more than another beloved, That you do so adjure us? My beloved is white and ruddy, The chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold; His locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are like doves beside the water-brooks, Washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, As banks of sweet herbs: His lips are as lilies, dropping liquid myrrh. His hands are as rings of gold set with beryl: His body is as ivory work overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: His aspect is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet; Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.( 16 End )

Song of Songs 6 : 1 - Whither is your beloved gone, O you fairest among women? Whither has your beloved turned him, That we may seek him with you? My beloved is gone down to his garden, To the beds of spices, To feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine; He feeds his flock among the lilies, You are fair, O my love, as Tirzah, Comely as Jerusalem, Terrible as an army with banners. Turn away your eyes from me, For they have overcome me. Your hair is as a flock of goats, That lie along the side of Gilead. Your teeth are like a flock of ewes, Which are come up from the washing; Whereof every one has twins, And none is bereaved among them. Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate Behind your veil. There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, And virgins without number.( 8 )

Isaiah 45 : 15 - Verily you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. They shall be put to shame, yes, confounded, all of them; they shall go into confusion together that are makers of idols. But Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be put to shame nor confounded world without end ( 17 ).

Jeremiah 7 : 1 -The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, Stand in the gate of Jehovah’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, all you of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship Jehovah. Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
Trust you not in lying words, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, are these. For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if you oppress not the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your own hurt: then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even for evermore. Behold, you trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known, and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that you may do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, says Jehovah. But go you now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. And now, because you have done all these works, says Jehovah, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you heard not; and I called you, but you answered not: therefore will I do to the house which is called by my name, wherein you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. ( 16 ) Therefore pray not you for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear you.

Jeremiah 8 : 18 - Oh that I could comfort myself against sorrow! my heart is faint within me. Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: Is not Jehovah in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with foreign vanities? The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt: I mourn; dismay has taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead? is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Jeremiah 51 : 1 - Thus says Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in Leb-kamai, a destroying wind. And I will send to Babylon strangers, that shall winnow her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about. Against him that bends let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifts himself up in his coat of mail: and spare you not her young men; destroy you utterly all her host. And they shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets..For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, of his God, of Jehovah of hosts; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel. Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah’s vengeance; he will render to her a recompense. Babylon has been a golden cup in Jehovah’s hand, that made all the earth drunk: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reaches to heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies. Jehovah has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God.

Lamentations 3 : 7 - I am the man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light. Surely against me he turns his hand again and again all the day. My flesh and my skin has he made old; he has broken my bones. He has builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. He has made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead. He has walled me about, that I cannot go forth; he has made my chain heavy.Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer. He has walled up my ways with hewn stone; he has made my paths crooked. He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in secret places. He has turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; he has made me desolate. He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. He has caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my reins. I am become a derision to all my people, and their song all the day. He has filled me with bitterness, he has sated me with wormwood. He has also broken my teeth with gravel stones; he has covered me with ashes. And you have removed my soul far off from peace; I forgot prosperity. And I said, My strength is perished, and my expectation from Jehovah. Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul has them still in remembrance, and is bowed down within me ( 20 ).

Hosea 5 : 6 - Hear this, O you priests, and hearken, O house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king; for to you pertains the judgment; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor. And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all. I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me; for now, O Ephraim, you have played the harlot, Israel is defiled. Their doings will not suffer them to turn to their God; for the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not Jehovah. And the pride of Israel does testify to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them. They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Jehovah; but they shall not find him: he has withdrawn himself from them. They have dealt treacherously against Jehovah; for they have borne strange children: now shall the new moon devour them with their fields.

Habakkuk 1 : 1 - The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see. O Jehovah, how long shall I cry, and you will not hear? I cry out to you of violence, and you will not save. Why do you show me iniquity, and look upon perverseness? for destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention rises up. Therefore the law is slacked, and justice does never go forth; for the wicked do compass about the righteous; therefore justice goes forth perverted.

John 8 : 47 - But because I say the truth, you believe me not. Which of you convicts me of sin? If I say truth, why do you not believe me? He that is of God hears the words of God: for this cause you hear them not, because you are not of God.

Deuteronomy 4 : 29 - But from thence you shall seek Jehovah your God, and you shall find him, when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, in the latter days you shall return to Jehovah your God, and hearken to his voice: for Jehovah your God is a merciful God; he will not fail you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.

Deuteronomy 30 : 2 - And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, whither Jehovah your God has driven you, and shall return to Jehovah your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; that then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, whither Jehovah your God has scattered you.

2 Chronicles 7 : 14 - if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attent, to the prayer that is made in this place.

Psalm 42 : 1 - For the Chief Musician. Maschil of the sons of Korah. As the hart pants after the water brooks, So pants my soul after you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, Where is your God? These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, How I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.

Psalm 63 : 1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.O God, you are my God; earnestly will I seek you: My soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, where no water is. So have I looked upon you in the sanctuary, To see your power and your glory. Because tyour lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise you So will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips

Psalm 143 : 1 A Psalm of David - Hear my prayer, O Jehovah; Give ear to my supplications: In your faithfulness answer me, and in your righteousness. And enter not into judgment with your servant; For in your sight no man living is righteous. For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has smitten my life down to the ground: He has made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate. I remember the days of old; I meditate on all your doings; I muse on the work of your hands. I spread forth my hands to tyou: My soul thirsts after tyou, as a weary land. [Selah] Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; My spirit fails: Hide not your face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.

Proverbs 8 : 12 - I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.
Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might. By me kings reign, And princes decree justice. By me princes rule, And nobles, even all the judges of the earth. I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.

Isaiah 35 : 1 - The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon: they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God. Strengthen you the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the glowing sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water: in the habitation of jackals, where they lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
