A - What The Maker's Manual says -

Safety (Old Testament)

Psalm 3 : 1 - Jehovah, how are my adversaries increased! Many are they that rise up against me. Many there are that say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. [Selah] But you, O Jehovah, are a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head. I cry to Jehovah with my voice, And he answerss me out of his holy hill. [Selah] I laid me down and slept; I awaked; For Jehovah sustains me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people That have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Jehovah; Save me, O my God: For you have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone; You have broken the teeth of the wicked. ]Salvation belongs to Jehovah: Your blessing be upon your people.

Psalm 20 : 1 - Jehovah answer you in the day of trouble; The name of the God of Jacob set you up on high; Send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; Remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt-sacrifice; [Selah] Grant you your heart’s desire, And fulfil all your counsel. We will triumph in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners: Jehovah fulfil all your petitions. Now know I that Jehovah saves his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will make mention of the name of Jehovah our God. They are bowed down and fallen; But we are risen, and stand upright. Save, Jehovah: Let the King answer us when we call.

Psalm 112 : 5 - Well is it with the man that deals graciously and lends; He shall maintain his cause in judgment.
For he shall never be moved; The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,

Isaiah 39 : 1 - At that time Merodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he heard that he had been sick, and was recovered. And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not. Then came Isaiah the prophet to king Hezekiah, and said to him, What said these men? and from whence came they to you? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country to me, even from Babylon. Then said he, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them. Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of Jehovah of hosts: Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, says Jehovah. And of your sons that shall issue from you, whom you shall beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of Jehovah which you have spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

Deliverance, Help (New Testament)

Luke 1 : 69 - Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; For he has visited and wrought redemption for his people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David (As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old), Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To show mercy towards, our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he spoke to Abraham our father, To grant to us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

Acts 2 : 40 - And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation. They then that received his word were baptized: and there were added to them in that day about three thousand souls.

Acts 4 : 12 - And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 16 : 30 - And the jailor, being roused out of sleep and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm: for we are all here. And he called for lights and sprang in, and, trembling for fear, fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your house.

Acts 26 : 18 - But arise, and stand uponyour feet: for to this end have I appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness both of the things wherein you have seen me, and of the things wherein I will appear to you; delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you, to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

Deliverance, Help Old Testament

2 Kings 14 : 23 - In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty and one years. And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin. He restored the border of Israel from the entrance of Hamath to the sea of the Arabah, according to the word of Jehovah, the God of Israel, which he spoke by his servant Jonah the son of Amittai, the prophet, who was of Gath-hepher. For Jehovah saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter; for there was none shut up nor left at large, neither was there any helper for Israel. And Jehovah said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven; but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash. Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, which had belonged to Judah, for Israel, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? ( 29 End ) And Jeroboam slept with his fathers, even with the kings of Israel; and Zechariah his son reigned in his stead.

Psalm 34 : 7 : I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant; And their faces shall never be confounded. This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of Jehovah encamps round about them that fear him, And delivers them. Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that takes refuge in him.

Psalm 39 : 13 - Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me: Make haste to help me, O Jehovah. Let them be put to shame and confounded together That seek after my soul to destroy it : Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt. Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say to me, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek you rejoice and be glad in you: Let such as love our salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified. But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me: You are my help and my deliverer; Make no tarrying, O my God.

Psalm 56 : 13 - Your vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank-offerings to you .For you have delivered my soul from death: Have you not delivered my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?

Psalm 57 : 1 - Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me; For my soul takes refuge in you: Yes, in the shadow of your wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast. I will cry to God Most High, to God that performs all things for me. He will send from heaven, and save me, When he that would swallow me up reproaches

Psalm 68 : 20 - God is to us a God of deliverances; And to Jehovah the Lord belongs escape from death.

Psalm 70 : 1 - Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O Jehovah. Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt. Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in you; And let such as love your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy; Make haste to me, O God: You are my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying.

Psalm 91 : 3 - For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, And under his wings shall you take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at yourside, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come nigh you.

Psalm 116 : 1 - I love Jehovah, because he hears My voice and my supplications. Because he has inclined his ear to me, Therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech you, deliver my soul. Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. Jehovah preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me. Return unto your rest, O my soul; For Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you. For you have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.

Isaiah 4 : 2 - In that day shall the branch of Jehovah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem; when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of justice, and by the spirit of burning. And Jehovah will create over the whole habitation of mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be spread a covering. And there shall be a pavilion for a shade in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Jeremiah 49 : 28 - Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote. Thus says Jehovah: Arise you, go up to Kedar, and destroy the children of the east. Their tents and their flocks shall they take; they shall carry away for themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry to them, Terror on every side! Flee you, wander far off, dwell in the depths, O you inhabitants of Hazor, says Jehovah; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you. Arise, get you up to a nation that is at ease, that dwells without care, says Jehovah; that have neither gates nor bars, that dwell alone. And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter unto all winds them that have the corners of their hair cut off; and I will bring their calamity from every side of them, says Jehovah. ( 33 ) And Hazor shall be a dwelling-place of jackals, a desolation for ever: no man shall dwell there, neither shall any son of man sojourn therein.

Salvation (New Testament)

Romans 1 : 16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

1 Timothy 2 : 3 - ... that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 1 : 8 - Be not ashamed therefore of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but suffer hardship with the gospel according to the power of God; who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal, but has now been manifested by the appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, whereto I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher. For which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

Titus 2 : 11 - For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;

Hebrews 9 : 23 - It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us: nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own; else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages has he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And inasmuch as it is appointed to men once to die, and after this comes judgment; so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, to salvation.

Security (New Testament)

Luke 15 : 3 - And he spoke to them this parable, saying, What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say to you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.

John 3 : 16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. He that believes on him is not judged: he that believes not has been judged already, because he has not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 4 : 42 - and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of your speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.

John 8 : 10 - And Jesus lifted up himself, and said to her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn you? And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn you: go your way; from henceforth sin no more.

John 10 : 27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

John 12 : 47 - And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receives not my sayings, has one that judges him: the word that I spoke, the same shall judge him in the last day.

John 17 : 10 - Holy Father, keep them in your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are. While I was with them, I kept them in your name which you have given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. I have given them your word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that you should take them from the world, but that you should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.

Acts 13 : 23 - I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who shall do all My will. Of this man's seed has God according to promise brought unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus;

Philippians 2 : 12 - So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

1 Thessalonians 5 : 9 - For God appointed us not into wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Hebrews 2 : 3 - how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard; God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

James 5 : 20 - My brethren, if any among you err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he who converts a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

1 John 5 : 13 - These things have I written to you, that you may know that you have eternal life, even to you that believe on the name of the Son of God.

Revelation 7 :1 - After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree. And I saw another angel ascend from the sunrising, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we shall have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of them that were sealed, a hundred and forty and four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel: Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand: Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

Revelation 14 : 6 - And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tonge and people; and he said with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.

Security (Old Testament)

Exodus 33 : 16 - Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold a land that reaches afar. Your heart shall muse on the terror: Where is he that counted, where is he that weighed the tribute? where is he that counted the towers? You shall not see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you cannot comprehend, of a strange tongue thatyou cannot understand.

1 Samuel 10 : 17 - And Samuel called the people together to Jehovah to Mizpah; and he said to the children of Israel, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms that oppressed you: but you have this day rejected your God, who himself saves you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and you have said to him, No, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before Jehovah by your tribes, and by your thousands. So Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken. And he brought the tribe of Benjamin near by their families; and the family of the Matrites was taken; and Saul the son of Kish was taken: but when they sought him, he could not be found. Therefore they asked of Jehovah further, Is there yet a man to come hither? And Jehovah answered, Behold, he has hid himself among the baggage. And they ran and fetched him thence; and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward. And Samuel said to all the people, See you him whom Jehovah has chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, Long live the king. Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before Jehovah. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house. And Saul also went to his house to Gibeah; and there went with him the host, whose hearts God had touched. But certain worthless fellows said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no present. But he held his peace.

2 Chronicles 23 : 1 - And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him. And they went about in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the heads of fathers’ houses of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem. And all the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said to them, Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as Jehovah has spoken concerning the sons of David. This is the thing that you shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the thresholds; and a third part shall be at the king’s house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of Jehovah. But let none come into the house of Jehovah, save the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall come in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep the charge of Jehovah. And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes into the house, let him be slain: and be you with the king when he comes in, and when he goes out. So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men, those that were to come in on the sabbath; with those that were to go out on the sabbath; for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses. And Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds the spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David’s, which were in the house of God. And he set all the people, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, along by the altar and the house, by the king round about. Then they brought out the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony, and made him king: and Jehoiada and his sons anointed him; and they said, Long live the king. And when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of Jehovah: and she looked, and, behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets; the singers also played on instruments of music, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason! treason! And Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said to them, Have her forth between the ranks; and whoso follows her, let him be slain with the sword: for the priest said, Slay her not in the house of Jehovah. ( 15 ) So they made way for her; and she went to the entrance of the horse gate to the king’s house: and they slew her there.

Psalm 30 : 6 - As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved. You, Jehovah, of your favor had made my mountain to stand strong: You did hide your face; I was troubled. I cried to you, O Jehovah; And to Jehovah I made supplication: What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? shall it declare your truth? Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy on me: Jehovah, be you my helper

Psalm 124 : 1 - ( A Song of degrees of David. ) If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Proverbs 11 : 30 - The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise wins souls.

Proverbs 27 : 11 - My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, That I may answer him that reproaches me. A prudent man sees the evil, and hides himself; But the simple pass on, and suffer for it. Take his garment that is surety for a stranger; And hold him in pledge that is surety for a foreign woman.

Isaiah 25 : 9 - And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. For in this mountain will the hand of Jehovah rest; and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill. And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swims spreads forth his hands to swim; but Jehovah will lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands. And the high fortress of your walls has he brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.

Isaiah 45 : 22 - Look unto me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 49 : 15 - Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yes, these may forget, yet will not I forget you. Behold, I have graven you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

Isaiah 59 : 1 - Behold, Jehovah's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness. None sues in righteousness, and none pleads in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. They hatch adders’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper. Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace. Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity. We grope for the wall like the blind; yes, we grope as they that have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among them that are lusty we are as dead men. We roar all like bears, and moan sore like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them: transgressing and denying Jehovah, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness cannot enter. Yes, truth is lacking; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey. And Jehovah saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.( 16 ),

Ezekiel 47 : 13 - Thus says the Lord Jehovah: This shall be the border, whereby you shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. And you shall inherit it, one as well as another; for I sware to give it to your fathers: and this land shall fall to you for inheritance. And this shall be the border of the land: On the north side, from the great sea, by the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad; Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazer-hatticon, which is by the border of Hauran. And the border from the sea, shall be Hazar-enon at the border of Damascus; and on the north northward is the border of Hamath. This is the north side. And the east side, between Hauran and Damascus and Gilead, and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan; from the north border to the east sea shall you measure. This is the east side. And the south side southward shall be from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the great sea. This is the south side southward. ( 20 ) And the west side shall be the great sea, from the south border as far as over against the entrance of Hamath. This is the west side. So shall you divide this land to you according to the tribes of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who shall beget children among you; and they shall be to you as the home-born among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourns, there shall you give him his inheritance, says the Lord Jehovah ( 23 End ).

Joel 2 : 12 - Yet even now, says Jehovah, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to Jehovah your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and repents him of the evil.

Amos 6 : 1 - Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and to them that are secure in the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come! Pass ye to Calneh, and see; and from thence go you to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines: are they better than these kingdoms? or is their border greater than your border? --you that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; that lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall; that sing idle songs to the sound of the viol; that invent for themselves instruments of music, like David; that drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief oils; but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Therefore shall they now go captive with the first that go captive; and the revelry of them that stretched themselves shall pass away.
